Mr. Cusack invites you to participate in the 2026 HPE Code Wars (Hewlett Packard Enterprise).
Event Date: Saturday, March 7, 2026
Check-in: 7:30 AM | Contest: ~9:00 AM (3 hours)
Lunch, campus tours, and product showcase follow the contest,
with prize drawings and winners announcing start at about 1:15.
We expect the event to conclude by 2:30.
Fee: No cost | Food: Breakfast + lunch provided
Why you should go
- This is one of the most exciting events we do all year.
- Prizes are truly random if you participate, you are eligible.
- Prizes can include gift cards, consoles, printers, and even high-end computer systems.
- Almost every year at least one of our students wins a prize (except 2024).
- Last year, every student received an HPE t-shirt and a nice backpack.
- If you do really well, HPE may ask you to participate in an internship.
Important: Limited slots
I typically have more students than available spots. I requested openings for 6 teams (18 slots), but HPE may give me anywhere from 3–6 teams.
How I decide who goes
- How many practices you have attended
- How many competitions you have attended
- How fast you get fully registered (Klein ISD + HPE)
- How well you have done at the contest
- You complete your entire HP registration
- You complete your permission slip and turn it in to Mr. Cusack

- Complete your HPE waiver.
- Select Mr. Joe Cusack as your coach in the HPE system.
